“AI holds immense promise to drive climate action” (as per Google’s 2024 ESG report), but apparently creating the required transparency for further climate action isn’t part of this.

Last week ESMA published its second final report on the new MICA regulation. This report included the technical standards for the sustainability indicators for crypto-asset consensus mechanisms.
